The rules and conditions governing your use of JobZone
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobZone platform ("Service"), operated by CRUCiBLE CAPiTAL SYSTEMS LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use JobZone.
You must be at least 13 years old to use JobZone. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using JobZone on behalf of an employer or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at shawwe@alumni.vcu.edu if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or that we believe have been compromised.
JobZone is a career fair platform that connects job seekers with employers through in-person career events primarily in the Virginia and Maryland (DMV) area. The Service includes event listings, employer profiles, job postings, resume and profile management, and event check-in functionality. Features may vary by account type.
You agree to use JobZone only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
Employers using JobZone agree to post only legitimate job opportunities, to comply with all applicable employment laws (including anti-discrimination laws), and to use job seeker information solely for recruiting and hiring purposes. Selling or sharing job seeker data with third parties for non-employment purposes is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
You retain ownership of the resumes, cover letters, and other content you upload to JobZone ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant CRUCiBLE CAPiTAL SYSTEMS LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and share Your Content as necessary to operate the Service — including sharing your resume with employers at events you register for. You represent that Your Content does not infringe any third-party rights.
The JobZone platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content produced by us, is the property of CRUCiBLE CAPiTAL SYSTEMS LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
JobZone is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any job posting will result in employment. We are not responsible for the accuracy of employer postings or the conduct of employers or job seekers using the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRUCiBLE CAPiTAL SYSTEMS LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of JobZone, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of data, or any harm resulting from interactions with employers or job seekers. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CRUCiBLE CAPiTAL SYSTEMS LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to JobZone at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of JobZone shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at shawwe@alumni.vcu.edu to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Your continued use of JobZone after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
