JobZone is a career-fair company serving the DMV area (Virginia and Maryland). We host in-person job fairs built for veterans but open to students, alumni, civilians, and growing employers. Our events connect qualified job seekers directly with companies that are actively hiring.
Anyone can attend! While our events are built with veterans in mind, they are open to all job seekers — students, recent graduates, alumni, civilians, military spouses, and transitioning service members. There is no cost to attend as a job seeker.
Visit jobzoneonline.com/register to create a free account. Then browse the Schedule page, register for the events you want to attend, and link your resume to each event. Pre-registering lets employers review your resume before the fair.
Your account resume is your general profile resume that stays on file. Your event resume is what employers at a specific job fair will actually see. You must link your resume to each event individually — having it on your account alone is not enough.
Bring 10–15 printed copies of your resume on quality paper, dress in business professional attire (military uniform is acceptable), bring a valid photo ID, a pen, and your questions for employers. Save a PDF of your resume on your phone as a digital backup.
Yes! Walk-ins are welcome at most events. However, pre-registering saves time at the door and gives employers a chance to review your resume in advance. We strongly encourage registering at jobzoneonline.com.
